Does your gymnast shine in practice but struggle to show it at meets?
As a former college gymnast, who struggled with being able to bring out my best at competitions, I know how it feels to train so hard in practice and not be able to show it at meets. I could do my skills so well in the gym but when it was time to step in front of a judge, my mind would freeze and suddenly my gymnastics would change. I was inconsistent and it really hurt my confidence as a competitor. Not to mention, I was a nervous wreck! I would put too much pressure on myself, expect perfection and feel devastated if I messed up. If your gymnast can relate to any of this, keep reading!
It’s not a good feeling as a gymnast, and I know as a parent it’s super hard to watch your daughter not see the fruits of all of her hard work that she puts in and self-sabotage her own performances. This is why I created The Confident Competitor Virtual Camp! Of course, gymnastics is not all about the results (and that’s something they’ll learn here) but competing is a very important part of the sport and it can make or break a gymnast’s confidence. But it’s not just about being able to bring their A-game to the competition floor - there’s a lot of other factors that shape their competitive experience like, their self-talk, their ability to focus and regulate their emotions if/when things aren’t perfect, and how they handle pressure and nerves.
So here's what she'll learn in 4 weeks:
How to mentally prepare before competition
She’ll learn what to do in the days leading up to a meet to manage overthinking, “what if” thoughts, expectations, and pressure so she walks into competition feeling mentally prepared.
How to calm competition nerves
She’ll learn the science behind why nerves happen and practical, science based techniques to regulate her nervous system, calm her body, and compete even when the nerves are still there.
How to use cues and key words to lock in
She’ll learn how to create personalized cues and key words that help her quiet overthinking, focus on what matters, and trust her training when it’s time to compete.
How to become a more consistent competitor
She’ll learn how to create a repeatable mental process she can rely on from meet to meet, instead of allowing nerves, warm ups, scores, or outside distractions to determine how she performs.
How to trust herself under pressure
She’ll learn what to focus on in those final moments before she salutes, how to handle last second doubt, and how to let her body do what she has trained it to do.
How to reset after mistakes
She’ll learn how to recover mentally after a fall, mistake, or disappointing score so one moment doesn’t turn into an entire bad meet.
How to build real competition confidence
Not confidence that depends on hitting every routine or getting a certain score, but confidence built on knowing she can trust herself, respond to challenges, and handle whatever happens on competition day.
Two special guest gymnasts will join us throughout the camp to share the real strategies, routines, cues, and secrets they used to compete successfully at the highest levels.
Your gymnast will get to hear what actually helped them manage nerves, stay consistent, handle pressure, trust themselves, and perform when it mattered most.
Because the goal isn’t to never feel nervous. The goal is to know exactly what to do when the nerves show up.
Plus she'll get to hear and learn from 2 very successful former elite and NCAA gymnasts!
Camp Details:
Starts: Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 5 pm CT

Can't make a session?
I know gymnastics schedules can get busy! Every session will be recorded, so if your gymnast has practice, a meet, family plans, or simply can’t attend live, the recording and session materials will be sent to you afterward. She can watch on her own time and still get everything she needs from the camp.
Help your gymnast have her most successful season yet and finally learn how to believe in herself, perform at her best, and love competing again.
