I started gymnastics when I was 3 years old and have been in love with the sport ever since. I started my college career at Oregon State University and was there for 3 years. I struggled with confidence and had no trust in my gymnastics. I competed a little bit but was not consistent enough physically or mentally, and I really struggled when I was put under pressure. I transferred to Texas Woman’s University going into my senior year where I learned what it truly means to be a competitor and my confidence quickly began to grow. I learned to step out of my mind and into my body, which allowed me to become the gymnast I knew I could be. By the end of season I was anchoring all 3 events that I competed in and had scored 9.9 or higher on all 3. I am now going into my 5th year of college gymnastics and am so excited for my last season!
